Marketing Manager - Acquisition: Medicare

Job Description

The Acquisition Marketing Manager drives the development and implementation of data-driven acquisition and direct response marketing strategies for the Medicare market.

Leading a team of marketing specialists, the manager is accountable for the planning, development, execution and measurement of acquisition and direct response strategies designed to grow membership and meet business goals and objectives. Responsible for co-creating & executing a go-to-market strategy that focuses on consumer direct marketing tactics including but not limited to lead gen/nurture, digital media and agency management, direct mail, SEO, SEM, and social media.

The manager is also responsible for driving the optimization of ongoing acquisition deliverables as well as influencing and working collaboratively with key stakeholders such as sales, product, compliance, operations and corporate marketing - both independently and in conjunction with the Senior Director.

Essential Functions - Marketing Manager - Acquisition: Medicare

  • Must have working knowledge and experience in the Medicare market
  • Strong experience with current consumer direct marketing methods including lead gen/nurture, digital media, agency management, direct mail, SEO, SEM, and social media.
  • Overseas the creation of tactical, measurable marketing campaigns and recommends the necessary analytic methodologies to implement, manage and measure success.
  • Collaborates with market and product development to segment current and potential markets and identify market and product opportunities.
  • Drives the implementation of communications programs including oversight of planning, development, production, and distribution of all materials, performing "hands-on" role as necessary.
  • Directs internal and external resources required in the development of materials, including adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and budgets.

  • Remains abreast of industry knowledge and best practices.
  • Responsible for working within government, company and direct marketing rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Works closely with Senior Director on team culture, division of responsibilities and communication.

Qualifications: Marketing Manager - Acquisition: Medicare

  • Required Bachelor's Degree Marketing or Business preferred
  • Preferred Master's Degree
  • 7 years of relevant experience experience in marketing or communications Required
  • 5 years of relevant experience supervisory/leadership Preferred
  • 3 years of relevant experience Demonstrated experience in the development, design and execution of business to consumer marketing strategies. Required
  • 3 years of relevant experience Ability to identify opportunities and streamline processes; continuous improvement. Required
  • No Experience Working knowledge of SalesForce and Hubspot Preferred
