Director of Data Engineering

  • Building out the IT department because sometimes documents are over 100 pages, so trying to build out infrastructure to automate the process.

  • Building out the data engineering team, app development, and infrastructure
  • Really focused on the Azure platform - everything is cloud-based (nothing on-prem)

Management:

  • Will manage two senior resources and a junior for the data engineering team
  • Doesn't have to be a director - More leaning towards the experience of being able to build out the enterprise
  • Certifications are great, but 100% OK if its more experience
  • Salesforce is nice to have, or any CRM tool - OK if they have worked with it, but haven't necessarily done direct data engineering
  • Focused on someone with a strong background withSQL, Azure Datafactory, Azure SQL data warehouse, PowerBI
  • Need someone to come in, build Agile workflows
  • DevOps background
  • Looking for someone who has worked in a small environment / startup feel, that can work towards building up an enterprise environment (IT is growing and wants this person to be part of that)

Location:On-site 5x/week (trying to get everyone back into the office)

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
  • office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
