JOB PURPOSE:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives through expert project planning, execution, and Agile Scrum leadership. Drive cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope, fostering collaboration, adaptability, and continuous improvement. Champion Agile methodologies to optimize sprint performance, maximize business value, and empower teams to achieve exceptional results. KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Lead and manage projects throughout the entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business goals, including Agile Scrum, hybrid, and traditional project management methodologies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including schedules, risk management, communication strategies, and Agile artifacts (e.g., sprint backlogs, burndown charts, retrospectives).
- Ensure project accountability and delivery by overseeing timelines, budgets, and scope while fostering Agile principles such as iterative progress, collaboration, and adaptability. collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business needs and Agile frameworks where applicable.
- Facilitate cross-functional Agile teams, including Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) to drive successful project execution
- Communicate project progress, risks, and blockers to senior leadership and stakeholders through regular updates, sprint reviews, and executive dashboards.
- Negotiate with resource managers to acquire the resources necessary to produce the project on time and within budget (if applicable); determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants if necessary during project lifecycle.
- Set and manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring transparency and alignment across sponsors, team members, and business partners in both Agile and traditional project environments.
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate project personnel.
- Oversee diverse project types (minor, major, complex), adapting methodologies (Agile, hybrid) based on project needs.
- Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise risk mitigation plans.
- Understand all aspects of the projects according to project management methodologies, standards and best practices as set by the Project Management Office.
- Participate in the refinement of the project management policies and processes.
- Participate in internal team/tasks for PMO.
- Identify and resolve issues related to the project and the project team.
- Adhere to Midco's privacy guidelines to ensure each customer's privacy.
- Follow and serve as a role model in displaying Midco's Core Values and Leadership Success Drivers.
- Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.
- 3 years of project management, business analysis, IT/IS leadership, or related experience (Agile/Scrum environments preferred).
- Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and PMI best practices.
- Certifications such as PMP, CSM (Certified ScrumMaster), or SAFe preferred.
- Hands-on experience leading or collaborating with Agile teams (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
- Employees may be required to work in excess of 40 hours per week and other than normal business hours, such as holidays, evenings and weekends as business demands.
