Enbridge Gas Ohio is seeking an experienced Director, Regulatory & Pricing, to lead the development and implementation of rates and regulatory strategies within our service territory. This role involves decision-making, negotiations, and managing relationships with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to PUCO Commissioners and Staff, consumer advocates, and other interveners in regulatory cases.

The Director will also provide input for the Commission's regulatory rule review process, determine product and service pricing for new offerings, and assist in pricing negotiations. Additionally, the Director will develop and administer public utility commission-approved terms and conditions, and company policies and procedures necessary to facilitate energy choice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise and participate in the development, implementation, and administration of Enbridge Gas Ohio's strategy to fulfill its default service obligations.

  • Support in developing and securing regulatory approval of its open access tariffs.

  • Oversee strategy development for, and revenue maximization from, unbundled service offerings.

  • Oversee requirements planning process and associated load forecasting activities.

  • Represent Enbridge in industry trade associations and related organizations.

  • Represent Enbridge in state and/or FERC proceedings to establish policies and/or reporting requirements.

  • Develop company position recommendations and work with the Law Department and business units to advocate Enbridge's point of view.

  • Participate as an active member of the Enbridge Gas regulatory leadership team, working closely with Directors, Regulatory & Pricing in our other jurisdictions, and the Director, Regulatory Strategy.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of directly related experience in progressive leadership roles.

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) preferred in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. An equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may also be considered.

  • Substantial knowledge of cost allocation, rate design, cost recovery, load forecasting, and fuel recovery.

  • Knowledge of mechanisms, product and pricing strategies, regulatory filing requirements, and regulation of natural gas services.

  • Knowledge of wholesale and retail natural gas markets.

  • Broad knowledge of accounting, tax, and/or financial concepts.

  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to develop staff effectively.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

  • Public speaking skills with the ability to present and communicate complex information both formally and informally.

  • Good persuasive and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to use analytical and abstract thinking in evaluating strategic initiatives and developing recommendations.

  • The following certification/destination will be considered assets:

    • Master's in business administration (MBA)

    • Master's in economics

    • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Working Conditions:
  • Office work environment (76-100%).

  • Travel up to 25% on average, with peaks.
