At Enbridge, we are seeking a Manager, Risk Governance and Services, to join our fast-paced team. This role is crucial for managing risk governance and the risk element as part of the Integrity and Risk Management for Enbridge Gas in Canada and the US.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing risk management strategies and processes for Enbridge Gas Assets across the USA and Canada. This position ensures risk-informed decision-making while considering operational safety and regulatory compliance. As a Manager, Risk Governance and Services, you will coordinate with stakeholders and promote continuous improvement in risk methodologies.

What will you do:
  • Lead and manage the development and execution of qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for Enbridge Gas Assets across both Canada and USA.

  • Coordinate the assets risk-ranking input to Asset Management investments, supporting informed and data-driven decisions.

  • Responsible for risk governance activities and process safety initiatives in line with Enbridge's Integrated Management System.

  • Facilitate collaboration with key departments (e.g., Finance, Regulatory, Engineering, Operations) to align risk activities and support business objectives.

  • Assist with regulatory submissions and ensure documentation of risk-related activities aligns with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.

  • Accountable for risk management reporting, ensuring clear communication of risks, trends, and recommendations to senior leadership and other stakeholders.

  • Supervise, mentor, and coach team members to enhance their technical knowledge and analytical skills.

  • Maintain relationships with external contractors and consultants supporting the Integrity and Risk Management functions.

Who are you:
  • An engineering degree, preferred postgraduate in Engineering, Finance or Risk Management.

  • P. Eng./PE designation is a must.

  • 8+ years of experience in the Energy Industry, preferred in oil and gas or natural gas utilities with at least 3 years focused on leading Risk Management teams.

  • Deep understanding of the related codes, standards, and regulations, in North America.

  • Outstanding leadership skills, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent prioritization skills, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Master of Science in Engineering, Master of Engineering Management, Master of Business Administration, Risk or Financial certifications, is highly beneficial.

Working Conditions:

This role requires a frequent travel between Canada and US (25% of the time).
