- Estimated annual base pay: $112,000(minimum) - $140,000(midpoint) - $168,000(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Finance Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position reports to another leader within the finance organization and is responsible for designated finance activities that are relatively broad in scope. Designated finance activities may include, but are not limited to, various areas of financial accounting and reporting and/or financial planning and analysis. This position covers scope of activities that are considered financially significant to the company, using criteria similar to that used to determined financial significance for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes, which may include multiple sites, a single site, or a major portion of a business group. This position also works across business groups in various areas. This position may also participate in due diligence and post acquisition activities for the group or for other groups. What You Will Be Doing
- Oversees the global consolidation process during month-end close, including review of journal entries, establishing/driving month-end deadlines
- Assists with quarterly financial reporting requirements, including development and/or review of financial statements and footnotes, review of technical accounting memos
- Leads a team of finance professionals to achieve the objectives of assigned responsibilities, driving a lean/continuous improvement climate
- Responsible for recruiting, retaining, coaching and developing team members
- Effectively manages department resources through organizing, prioritizing, and distributing work assignments. At the same time, considers development opportunities of team members as assignments are made
- Responsible for all accounting processes, leading to the timely and accurate reporting of financial results for the specific responsibility area and in compliance with established internal control guidelines for a scope of activity that would be considered financially significant under criteria similar to the criteria used for Sarbanes-Oxley purposes
- Coordinate internal control monitoring (including SOX) and external and internal audits for areas within scope of responsibilities
- Collaborates with global accounting members and is viewed as a subject matter expert
- Acts as a financial consultant to non-finance leaders and members in the organization
- Key member interacting with the external auditors during financial statement reviews and audits, providing review/audit support and follow-up
- May coordinate with other finance team leaders and members to analyze and interpret monthly, quarterly and annual financial results compared against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods
- Effectively communicates financial results and the results of financial analysis to others within the organization, in small and large group settings
- Participates in due diligence and post-acquisition activities for the business group or other business groups
What We Are Looking For
- US - Master's degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) Business Administration preferred
- US - Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Accounting (or equivalent) required
- CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent preferred
- 5+ years Accounting and financial experience that includes progressively more complex assignments or projects required, 10+ years preferred
- Experience working at a global company and/or public accounting experience preferred
- Ability to successfully apply accounting theory to situations and transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and excels in communicating with individuals and groups.
- Builds and maintains effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to successfully lead and complete small projects.
- Applies sound logic to problem solving. Recognizes problems which are beyond capabilities and seeks out appropriate experts and/or resources.
- Ability to prioritize assigned responsibilities.
- Able to identify and drive process improvements.
- Substantive experience leading others required
