Compensation Range:$55000-$70000 Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose Responsible for creating, documenting, modifying, optimizing, implementing and monitoring procedures used to assemble, process and test batteries and charging systems. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the development, evaluation and improvement of the manufacturing and the assembly process; also optimize methods to obtain maximum productivity levels. Aid in recommending engineering design changes and identifying potential areas of improvement. Assist with development and maintenance process work instructions. Collaborate in the development and processing of flow charts. Collect data to drive continuous process improvement. Facilitate in process control and process improvement activities. Qualifications This position has supervisory responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or manufacturing discipline. Working knowledge in manufacturing or process control preferred. Interpersonal and team working skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Microsoft Office proficiency is required General Job Requirements Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch. Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions. Must be able to differentiate colors. Must be able and willing to work overtime.
