Compensation Range:$55000-$70000

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

Responsible for creating, documenting, modifying, optimizing, implementing and monitoring procedures used to assemble, process and test batteries and charging systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the development, evaluation and improvement of the manufacturing and the assembly process; also optimize methods to obtain maximum productivity levels.
  • Aid in recommending engineering design changes and identifying potential areas of improvement.
  • Assist with development and maintenance process work instructions.
  • Collaborate in the development and processing of flow charts.
  • Collect data to drive continuous process improvement.
  • Facilitate in process control and process improvement activities.
Qualifications

This position has supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering or manufacturing discipline.
  • Working knowledge in manufacturing or process control preferred.
  • Interpersonal and team working skills.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency is required

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions.
  • Must be able to differentiate colors.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime.
