Cox Automotive is hiring a Financial Senior Analyst. The senior analyst will support budget and forecasting activities, long-range planning, monthly results analysis, and ad hoc financial analysis in the $300m Finance and Insurance Business (F&I). The role is responsible for monthly development and interpretation of financial results, variance analysis, as well as analysis of key performance metrics and business drivers to identify trends and make recommendations. The ability to thrive in a collaborative environment and the proven ability to influence other finance and business leaders are critical success factors. A focus on continuous improvement, including the enhancement of finance processes and procedures, is also critical.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Provide analysis of month end results and drive the development of forecasts and the identification and quantification of risks and opportunities.
  • Partner with business leads and matrix partners to ensure accurate, timely reporting and analysis for all ad hoc requests.
  • Develop business cases to support leadership decisioning for initiatives and investments.
  • Assist with developing recommendations through analysis, providing financial and operational insights necessary to help manage and improve the team's performance.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting with 4+ years of work experience in a financial environment. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ year of experience.
  • Strong analytical ability with track record of delivered results
  • Solid analytical and research capabilities required
  • Proven ability to prepare executive-level presentations and insights
  • Self-starter with flexibility and willingness to balance multiple, changing priorities and work under tight deadlines and experienced in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating one's own work
  • Work effectively on multiple assignments, activities, or projects
  • Advanced MS Excel skills required, including formulas, financial functions, pivot tables, design, and formatting for executive presentations
  • Experience with OneStream Enterprise Financial system is a strong plus.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)


USD 95,200.00 - 142,800.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $95,200.00 - $142,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Benefits:
