Technical Service Manager

Technical Service Managers (TSM) serve as subject-matter experts for Danisco Animal Nutrition technology and field-sampling data. Together with Key Account managers, TSMs support Danisco products with a focus on probiotics, essential oils, and betaine. TSMs also work directly with customers on their health challenges with a personalized approach that involves animal and environment sampling. In addition to direct field work, subjects for application will include poultry gut health, environmental management, and nutrition/health synergy. In addition to supporting customers and Key Account Managers, TSMs guide advanced data analytics and innovate customer-specific applications.

Successful applicants will have an excellent understanding of the poultry production systems and how water line products impact animal performance. drive to see the latest innovations brought to commercial production. To this end, applicants need to be independent in their ability to conduct technical service and lead field applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Animal Science, Poultry Science or similar. Masters degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of commercial/live production experience.
• Travel up to 50% of time
• Excellent communication skills, and technical communication.
• Candidate MUST BE a team player willing to a wide technical and sales team.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to develop key strategic relationships with customers at every level of the production process.
• Ability to write research protocols, interpret and analyze data into a coherent narrative that will be part of the sales process.
• Field support for distributors and key account managers.
• Proven knowledge of animal production, best practices, and integrator systems including all poultry species.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications, CRM applications, Laboratory information management systems (LIMS) or willingness to learn new software.
• History of research management with a team.
• Collection and preparation of animal samples for lab analysis.
• Understand technical benefits of IFF products vs. competitive offerings.
• Identify the specific need of target producer segments.
• Conduct market intelligence on competitive products.
