Asset & Wealth Management-Cohoes- Associate, Sales Support -372325

Job Duties: Associate, Sales Support with The Ayco Company, L.P., A Goldman Sachs Company in Cohoes, New York. Multiple positions available. Role is purely transactional, responsible for working on and providing operational support for trade execution and money movement. Proactively anticipate, determine, and recommend operational solutions to meet client needs and/or resolve issues surrounding investment related transactions. Support the advisor team by acting as intermediary between the advisor team and the back office/other internal teams to submit transactional requests on the client's behalf including: Submit trades for execution in client-directed brokerage accounts (e.g. domestic and foreign equities, options and currencies); Coordinate with advisor team to submit request to onboard client assets via Automatic Client Account Transfer Service; Process multitude of asset transfers including wires, gifts of securities in-kind, trust distributions, and IRA distributions; and Facilitate cash raises, fundings, and terminations of separately managed accounts.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years of experience with the following: financial products such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, options, and structured notes; handling complex transactions or other client service-related issues related to investment accounts, such as advanced or sensitive trading needs and errors; supporting advisor team and accurately prioritizing related tasks; and presenting complex information to clients, peers, superiors, and other departments. License Requirement: FINRA Series 7, Series 63 and SIE

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this Cohoes, New York-based position is $75,000/year - $85,000year.
