Position Summary |
We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow to develop and apply innovative microscopy methods to visualize and quantify organelle morphology, dynamics, and interactions. Microscopy modalities will include multispectral, superresolution, and label-free microscopy. Analyses will be performed using custom Python-based image analysis pipelines.
Our lab studies how lipids move within cells and between cells, for example from astrocytes to neurons. We use cutting-edge microscopy and biochemical techniques including superresolution microscopy, multispectral imaging, and spatial proteomics. We use these approaches to understand how defects in lipid trafficking contribute to metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. |
