Field Service Supervisor

Description

The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for scheduling and prioritizing all work performed in the assigned area of responsibility; providing quotes for jobs and work order review for customer billing; customer communications; field safety practices and compliance with field operating policies. This position has responsibilities to ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction.

1) Establish and mutually agree upon and communicate job expectations (i.e. accurate price quotes and time estimates) to internal and external customers to ensure customer satisfaction according to our mission and core business values.

2) Establish, model, and reinforce safety practices which are consistent with our mission to ensure employee and customer safety.

3) Model collaborative problem solving and personal influencing skills to ensure that service activities in incumbent's area of responsibility are aligned with the overall business plan of the service department and company.

4) Provide Service Manager with status reports on all open work orders in an accurate and timely manner.

5) Review monthly service operations branch statement to assess progress on department business goals.

6) Participate in the selection, development and evaluation of service department personnel to ensure a high level of commitment and competence is available in our human resources.

Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of heavy equipment repair experience in shop and field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisor or leadership experience highly desired.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be proficient with computers. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must be well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person with good people skills.
  • Must have steady employment history.
  • Must be capable of accurate order processing.
  • Exceptional customer service skills. Must be able to interact well with customers and fellow employees.

  • Must have valid drivers' license.

  • Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be highly organized and excellent attention to detail.
  • Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
  • Must self-motivated with a high commitment completing tasks in timely manner.
