Job Summary

The IT Infrastructure Architect is responsible for evaluating, designing, recommending, supporting, and managing IT infrastructure solutions. This role involves working with a variety of technologies, including Windows and Linux operating systems, enterprise storage systems, cloud services (Azure and AWS), and ERP/database systems. The position also requires strong troubleshooting skills, project leadership, and the ability to deliver and support scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement long-term IT infrastructure strategies that align with business goals and technology advancements.
  • Architect and oversee solutions for cloud services, including Azure Functions, API Management, Azure Storage, Key Vaults, Virtual Networks, App Gateways, Network Security Groups, Azure Data Lake and AWS infrastructure as a plus.
  • Design, configure, implement, and maintain infrastructure components, including servers (Windows/Linux), remote desktop farms, virtualized environments and SAAS solutions like D365 Finance.
  • Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions, including SAN systems, NetApp, and cloud storage accounts.
  • Provide expertise and tuning recommendations for applications systems and database platform to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Oversee high availability, disaster recovery and backup strategies, ensuring compliance with business SLAs and continuity requirements.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex application, network and interface troubleshooting.
  • Manage projects related to IT infrastructure, including planning, execution, and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to IT architecture standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and optimize IT processes.

Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced office environment with some Teams and telephone consultation and support with IT teams, product owners and business.
  • Duties are performed during standard business hours, but in addition, some support and projects may require some additional work outside normal business hours.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred or equivalent work experience required
  • 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, development, and support in a mission-critical enterprise environment
  • 3+ years of project leadership experience related to IT infrastructure or application projects
