Norris' Group Care Programs provide treatment, educational, and therapeutic recreational services to youth ages 8 through 17 and their families. Youth receive services related to mental health, emotional behavioral disorders, problematic sexualized behaviors, AODA, and trauma, including physical, sexual, emotional abuse or neglect. Norris is currently seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Youth Liaison (case management role) in our Group Care Program at our West Bend, WI campus.


Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the Youth Liaison (YL) is responsible for providing case management services to youth. Additionally, the YL assists the Milieu Supervisor, Assistant Milieu Supervisor, and Leads, to ensure a therapeutic environment is maintained on the halls and in the school setting, personalized treatment needs are addressed, trauma-informed practices are utilized, and needs of youth and families are attended to in order to promote sustainable results in the areas of safety, permanency, and well-being. The YL has primary Leader on Duty (LOD) and medication administration responsibilities on a routine basis.

The YL ensures sensitivity to the ethnic and cultural diversity of youth, families, and employees while effectively communicating and promoting the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of Norris. The YL position requires the individual is able to work a flexible schedule that is subject to change to meet the program's evolving needs at any time, which may be nights, weekends and/or holidays. The Youth Liaison position requires the individual to transport youth and/or families served in a Norris-owned or personal vehicle when needed. The Youth Liaison will assist as the secondary point person for medication administration in the absence of the Clinical Supervisor.
