DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this fiscal role, you will be a vital member of a team of fiscal technicians who manage financial data, ensure accuracy in records and reports, process transactions, maintain databases, and assist with audits. Responsibilities include working with accounts payable, invoicing, adoption and guardianship subsidies, foster care maintenance payments, daycare payments, federal IV funding, TANF, Social Security, Medicaid, child support, and bank deposits. You will have the opportunity to assist Fiscal Officers and the Quality Assurance department in the contract monitoring process. You will assist with in-house instruction and education to staff on financial programs and attend supervisory meetings as needed to inform supervisors of any changes. It is essential you maintain a thorough knowledge of current fiscal positions, having the basic knowledge of those positions to provide support and coverage. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Assistant or three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
- One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
