Position Summary:

CAS is seeking a Vice President, Human Resources, who is a visionary and strategic leader. This position requires a dynamic leader with proven capabilities to steer the HR function and company through a significant period of growth and transformation. The VP, HR will be pivotal in managing and enhancing the human resources landscape, driving organizational change, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Reporting directly to the CAS President, this role is simultaneously accountable to the ACS EVP of Human Resources, with a dotted-line reporting relationship. The VP, HR will oversee a dedicated team of approximately 15 HR professionals, including HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Change Management practitioners, Learning & Development professionals, and HR generalists.

The Vice President, Human Resources, will be at the forefront of evolving CAS through significant growth and transformation. The successful candidate's primary responsibilities will include developing and executing HR strategies that align with CAS's goals and objectives and ACS' organizational objectives and enterprise HR strategy, enhancing the talent sophistication within the organization, driving competitive positioning, and partnering closely with leadership to elevate value CAS delivers to global customers. They will lead a robust HR team, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture that supports the organization's strategic goals. The VP, HR will also play a crucial role in guiding the organization through strategic transformations, ensuring alignment and engagement at all levels. This leadership role requires someone with a profound understanding of business scaling, strategic talent management, and post-merger integration.

Job Accountabilities:

Strategic Leadership:



  • Develop and execute forward-thinking HR strategies that align with ACS' mission and aggressive growth objectives, with an emphasis on talent sophistication and competitive positioning to grow the next generation of leaders.
  • Serve as a pivotal advisor to leadership, leveraging HR insights to influence strategic decision making and organizational direction and align workforce behind vision and business strategy.
  • Proactivity partner with the ACS, EVP of Human Resources, on the development and implementation of enterprise-wide talent and HR operations strategies.
  • Strategically plan and execute people initiatives that enable business and organizational objectives among U.S. workforce of approximately 1,000 people and providing strategic HR advisory support for international teams in India, China, Japan, and other locations.


Talent Management and Development:



  • Drive comprehensive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategy to build a robust and dynamic workforce oriented toward and capable of significant growth. Ensure proactive workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Implement advanced learning and development (L&D) programs, executive coaching, and sponsorship initiatives to cultivate leadership and professional growth across the CAS division.


Organization Development and Change Management:



  • Partner with leadership to assess, scope, develop, and deploy organization effectiveness solutions that create memorable, impactful employee and team experiences and enhance organizational performance.
  • Oversee change management initiatives aligned with business objectives that promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and agility and increase change capability at all levels.
  • Guide CAS, but especially the CAS leadership and executive team, through crucial conversations and strategic transitions, ensuring alignment and engagement at all levels.


Diversity, Inclusion and Respect



  • Be a champion for an inclusive and respectful workplace and implement strategies to enhance diversity and foster employee well-being, in alignment with ACS' core values.
  • Promote positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and accountability with company policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations.


Financial Acumen:



  • Partner closely with the finance team to manage HR budgets and contribute to successful P&L management.
  • Utilize financial expertise to support strategic HR decisions and scaling initiatives, positioning HR as a central driver of organizational success.


Post-Merger Integration:



  • Lead and manage the HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring successful integration, minimal disruption, and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement post-merger support systems to proactively integrate new teams and cultures as seamlessly as possible, fostering a positive employee experience focused on collaboration and shared values.


Qualifications:



  • Company Background: Ideally, someone who has been with a company or division that has $1B+ revenue, whose growth was, in part fueled by M&A.
  • Career Success: Demonstrated success in senior HR leadership roles with significant growth agendas and including 10+ years progressive HR leadership and strategic business planning experience in accelerated growth organization(s).
  • Strategic Vision: Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive organizational growth and competitiveness and align workforce behind the vision and business strategy.
  • Change Management: Deep expertise in change management and organizational development, with a track record of fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, agility, engagement, and inclusivity.
  • Leadership Skills: Outstanding, inspirational leadership and mentoring abilities, capable of guiding and developing a high-performing HR team. Also, someone who is innovative and comfortable implementing change and creating memorable, impactful employee experiences and engagement. High emotional intelligence and strong communication skills are essential.
  • Compensation Expertise: Background in compensation and benefits management.
  • Global Perspective: Experience with global HR operations, ensuring alignment and effective execution across diverse regions and among highly diverse work environment.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and relevant global laws, issues, policies, programs, and practices.
  • Talent Analytics: Experience identifying and using data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent and organization, forecast future talent needs, and to inform HR strategies.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required. MBA or other related Master's degree desirable, but not required.
