The Department of French and Italian in the School of International Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Arizona is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Adjunct Instructor in French. The department offers a BA and an MA in French, (we offer courses in second language acquisition, francophonie, French literature, culture and language). The department is proud to have Award-winning teachers and advisors. We are looking forward to adding a new member to to the team for the 2025-2026 academic year.
This position is expected to teach three to four courses per semester at the undergraduate level.

Duties & Responsibilities
The candidate must be able and qualified to teach undergraduate level French language courses.
Hold office hours.
Attend meetings and events as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a Master's Degree in French or related field.
Native or near-native fluency in French and English.
Experience in teaching French basic and upper-level language courses.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in teaching at college-level.
