Responsibilities

Location: Bay Area

Deliver technical expertise and strategic guidance to customers during pre-sales and post-sales engagements.

Pre-Sales activities range from:

* Working closely with the customer on scope and design and execute on proof-of-concept goals, product demonstration and help customers with product evaluation and own the deal till technical closure.
* Guiding customers on testing strategy and optimize utilization using automation.

* Becoming a Strategic Advisor to customers for all things testing and test automation by providing in-depth technical assistance to ensure that business and testing goals are achieved.

Post-Sales activities range from:

* Scoping and delivering projects to ensure effective utilization and adoption of Keysight products.
* Building strong relationships with customers and guide teams on testing best practices and reduce any technical risk within the account.


Qualifications

* Bachelors or Masters Degree or University Degree (Comp Science desired)
* Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in Routing and Layer 2/3 protocols BGP, OSFP, ISIS, LAN, VXLAN, PFC, ECMP, LACP coding and automation.
* Strong background in Technical Consultancy and stake holder management
* Experience with Test Automation solutions
* Scoping Requirements and Specifications
* Experience with delivering solutions in a pre-sales or post-sales capacity
* Experience with scripting languages like Python, REST API, RESTPy, Linux, Docker containers
* Leading Keysight's customer engagements from a technical perspective
* Owning the technical solution development, demonstration, proposal, and in some cases delivery
* Teaming with sales professionals, industry solution teams, and other disciplines to develop and win complex opportunities
* Creating demand for Keysight's products and services through presentations, demonstrations, product evaluation and training
* Developing and building long term relationships and loyalty with customers while ensuring high customer satisfaction
* Strong networking fundamentals with strong working knowledge of OSI layers 1-7, with the ability to apply analytical and troubleshooting skillsets to solve complex problems.
* Strong working knowledge of Routing and Layer 2/3 protocols BGP, OSFP, ISIS, LAN, VXLAN, PFC, ECMP
* Strong data center and cloud computing concepts and fundamentals.

Desirable

* Experience in Ixia products and Automation (IxNetwork, IxLoad, BPS, IxVM)
* Strong working knowledge of Layer 4/7 protocols TCP, UDP, HTTP, IPSec
* Certification like CCNA/CCNP, Azure, ASW, GCP

The level of role will be based on applicable experience, education and skills; Most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed below.

CA Pay Range: MIN $174,060- MAX $290,100

Note: For other locations, pay ranges will vary by region
