DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will evaluate requests for reports and data while working closely with operational managers at all levels within Driver and Vehicle Services. Your role will involve offering advice and recommendations for enhancements, as well as creating processes aimed at improving business efficiency through data and reporting tools. You will also identify opportunities for automation, suggest improvements to output to minimize manual processing, and elevate work quality. Furthermore, you will manage complex analytical reporting tasks and lead projects focused on the development and application of reports related to driver licensing and motor vehicle technology systems. To achieve these objectives, you will collect pertinent background information, conduct interviews with employees and managers across various operational sectors, and apply problem-solving skills to recommend improvements that optimize operations and provide effective reporting tools for operational managers and executive staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • This position performs off hours support and reporting as required for implementations, including before and after regular scheduled times and weekends.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience as an Administration and Management Trainee performing technical management analysis work; or one year of experience in technical management analysis work, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
