CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Aviation Construction Inspector to join our Infrastructure - Aviation Team at a client site in West Palm Beach, FL.

The Aviation Construction Inspector is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of airports and other structures and facilities. This includes monitoring construction for conformance with contract documents and shop drawings/material submittals, recording field observations, and verifying construction conforms to quality control plans. Additionally, the Aviation Construction Inspector prepares and maintains project records in accordance with company, client, and/or government standards.

REQUIREMENTS

    High School Diploma required; Associate's degree in Engineering Science, Construction Management, or related technical field preferred
  • NICET Level I certification preferred
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • No prior experience required; however, prior construction or construction observation experience preferred
  • Able to comprehend construction plans and specifications
  • Understands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid-to-senior level team members with complex projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Extensive travel may be required


SALARY RANGE:

$27.88 - $32.21

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
