As a Fixed IncomePortfolio AnalysisAssociate, you will join a team focused on fixed income portfolio construction and analysis. You will work independently on standardized/recurring assignments and under the direction of more senior associates on more complex scenarios. You will help actively monitor portfolio risk metrics by producing reports and analyzing model scenarios, generate orders to express investment conviction, performpre-trade portfolio analysis, and partner closely with investment professionals and traders to monitor real-time fixed income market activity. Additionally, you'll work closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Research Analysts, and Investment Operations teams to support the fixed income strategies and relationships.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
  • You have 1+ year of experience in financial services, knowledge of fixed income instruments and investment vehicles, markets, and the investment process.
  • You have experience with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Bloomberg, VBA, Aladdin, Perform, and Python is a plus.
  • You demonstrate intellectual curiosity and strong nimble learning abilities with high attention to detail.
  • You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships. You're a generous collaborator and demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills with team members, managers and other business groups.
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $78,720-$125,952

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
