Driver

Arrowhead Landfill is currently looking for a Driver to join the team at our Uniontown, AL site. This is a full time year round position with benefits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Able to back trailers safely
• Able to drive a manual transmission
• Do inspection on all equipment (Pre and Post)
• Operate forklift and Bobcat
• Able to lift, twist, bend, climb ladders, Push and Pull
• Able to communicate with all levels of management
• Assist with End of day clean up
• Able to work in all types of weather

Other Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of workplace by sweeping and wiping down machinery/equipment.

Perform Yard checks, inventory trailers on the property, and report and update the status to office personnel.

Education/Experience:

CDL preferred. Jockey experience preferred. Clean Driving record preferred.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 50-75 pounds

Ability to get in and out of trucks / equipment several times a day
