Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled UI/UX Designer with proficiency in JavaScript to create engaging, user-friendly interfaces for our web applications. This role requires a blend of creativity, design principles, and technical expertise to ensure the best possible user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces (UI) for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to understand user needs and requirements.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web applications.
- Use JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create interactive, dynamic web pages and components.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness of web applications.
- Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and improve the user experience.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, UI best practices, and front-end technologies.
- Ensure consistency in design by creating and maintaining design systems, style guides, and assets.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Optimize user interfaces for speed and scalability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design with a strong portfolio of design projects.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS).
- Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong understanding of design principles such as color theory, typography, and layout.
- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).
- Familiarity with animation libraries like GSAP or Framer Motion.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of accessibility best practices (WCAG).
Estimated Min Rate: $50.00
Estimated Max Rate: $55.00
