As a Host (Guest Ambassador) atRombauer Vineyards, you'll be the face of our esteemed winery, ensuring every visitor leaves with a memorable experience. Join our team and help celebrate the joy of wine! Hosting and community relations 60% Involves greeting and checking in all visitors, both walk-ups and those with reservations, and curating their experiences to meet specific needs. Responsibilities include accurately tracking reservations, managing seating arrangements, ensuring guests understand the property layout, and providing necessary items for their visit. The role requires constant communication with other staff to ensure smooth operations and satisfactory customer service, handling reservations and inquiries, managing POS transactions, reporting feedback, and occasionally performing data entry and cash register management. Retail Sales Support (30%) Includes supporting tasting and tour areas with necessary items, preparing the Retail Sales Room, maintaining cleanliness and stock in guest areas and the warehouse, and assisting guests with retail and food purchases. This role also involves maintaining orderly warehouse space, restocking supplies, and ensuring the patio and parking lot are clean and presentable. Retail Sales (10%) Involves operating the By the Glass station, serving wine, and ensuring excellent customer service and winery education. This includes packaging wines correctly and ensuring appropriate POS materials are included with transactions. What You'll Need:
