Job Description: Senior Project Manager
Location: Augusta, ME
Salary: $121-137k Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in managing large and complex projects within the energy and infrastructure sectors. This position involves leading teams and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, budget management, and stakeholder communication. Key Responsibilities:
Provide effective leadership in a matrix organization.
Manage the initiation, planning, execution, and closure of projects, including defining the project WBS, Cost Baseline, and OBS structure, building a comprehensive work plan, and controlling risks, scope, schedule, and budget.
Lead teams by facilitating commitment, removing obstacles, and ensuring productivity.
Oversee the implementation and management of quality and environmental processes to meet SPI and CPI performance indicators (less than 1.0).
Manage third-party projects, including coordination with other transmission owners and interconnecting customers.
Responsible for managing and ensuring successful outcomes in the following areas:
Cost and Budget Management
Communication Management
Change Management
Schedule Management
Construction Management Oversight
Commissioning Management Oversight
Risk Management
Regulatory and Stakeholder Management
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Project Management, including at least 3 years in large-scale projects.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Experience in relevant sectors such as Substations, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Gas-Hydro, or OSG.
