• Windows desktop build engineer to design & build windows 11 deployment process to meet all client's standards.
  
  • If they have done a windows 10 migration, they will consider that
    
  
  
  
  
• NEED SOMEONE THAT BUILDS THE PROCESS FROM GROUND UP WITH AUTOMATION AND SCRIPTING AND THEN HAND IT OFF FOR IMPLEMENTATION-NOT THE PERSON IMAGING THE MACHINES
  
• Will interface with cloud and security teams as well to build out the process and act as an SME during roll out but will NOT be boots on the ground for deployment.
  
• User community: 2500 across 6 sites
  
• They are looking for someone to be able to set up the migration so that when a user gets a new laptop, they turn it on and its ready to go.
  
• Whole automated process
  
• Strong MS image creation, Intune, Group Policy, MS Autopilot, creation of O/S images in a corporate environment
  
• Windows laptop (HP and Dell)
  
• MUST have strong documentation/technical writing skills
  
• Onsite requirement: 39 days per quarter, flexible on how that spreads out, roughly 3 days per week
  

• We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Windows 11 Build Engineer to join our dynamic IT team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Windows 11 operating system images and deployment solutions.
• They will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth rollout and maintenance of Windows 11 across our organization.

• Design and Development:
  Develop and maintain customized Windows 11 images tailored to the organization's needs. Ensure compatibility with existing software and hardware.
• Deployment:
  Implement and manage Windows 11 deployment strategies using tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
• Testing and Validation:
  Conduct comprehensive testing of Windows 11 builds, including application compatibility testing, to ensure a stable and secure operating system environment.
• Automation:
  Develop automated scripts and processes to streamline the build and deployment of Windows 11. Utilize PowerShell and other scripting languages to enhance automation.
• Documentation:
  Create and maintain detailed documentation of build procedures, deployment processes, and configuration settings.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
  Provide third-level support for Windows 11 issues. Troubleshoot and resolve complex OS-related problems.
• Collaboration:
  Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and application teams, to ensure seamless integration and operation of Windows 11 within the IT infrastructure.
• Security:
  Ensure that Windows 11 builds and deployments meet the organization's security policies and standards. Implement security patches and updates promptly.

• Experience:
  Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building and deploying Windows operating systems, with a focus on Windows 10/11.
• Technical Skills:
  Strong knowledge of Windows 11 architecture, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), and PowerShell scripting.
• Problem-Solving:
  Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex OS-related issues.
• Communication:
  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise documentation.
• Team Player:
  Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications:
  Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are a plus.
