Retail Support Center Data Entry Specialist:
The Retail Support Center Data Entry Specialist reviews submissions of CIP and beneficial ownership for business accounts from Banking Centers and the Partner Account Level Support Group. The specialist must evaluate the documentation, determine accuracy, compliance with 2 zero tolerance regulations, record results and findings in various internal systems.
Position Responsibilities:
- Review, research and validate CIP and Beneficial Ownership submissions by established service level agreements.
- Review BC documentation to validate accuracy of and compliance with 2 zero tolerance regulations: CIP/ USA Patriot Act and Beneficial Ownership.
- Research and make updates to the customer profile, to comply with CIP rules, when the BC documentation does not meet regulatory requirements.
- Use current systems to correct BO errors from the BCs, ensuring compliance with BO rules.
- Utilize the above information to return documents still needing correction to the BCs.
- Place and remove account holds based on the results of the findings.
- Communicate in writing the error, reason it is an error and steps needed to correct.
- Accurately document findings.
- Disposition BC submissions in SharePoint.
- Enter BO information into Comerica's Beneficial Ownership System.
- Validate CIP and BO results in HOGAN.
- Provide appropriate assistance, resolution and/ or escalation based on policy and procedure.
- Work collaboratively with internal business partners; escalate issues to manager.
- Meet or exceed key performance metrics while handling a high number of BC submissions in a fast-paced environment. Successful candidates possess strong communication skills, time management and organizational skills.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Adhere to Retail Bank audit and compliance standards.
- Participate in internal, external, and other risk exams as required.
- Raise awareness or recommend revisions to operational quality and productivity standards as driven by changing client requirements, quality trends or prudent operational practice.
Position Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience in financial services or banking
- 1 year of experience utilizing MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Windows and web-based applications
Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days
Hours: 8:30A-5:30P Monday - Friday
