POSITION SUMMARYThe Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technology roadmap for Workday and UKG/Kronos at US Venture, adapting to evolving business needs. This position collaborates closely with the Data Insights Team to manage the data lake, drive automation projects, and fulfill various HR data requests. The HRIS Manager is also responsible for developing and maintaining integrations, business processes, and reporting systems, ensuring the highest standards of data accuracy, integrity, and security. Additionally, this role provides strategic consultations to key stakeholders
to enhance and optimize HR processes.
This position will be located at our Corporate Office in Appleton, WI (preferred) with options for hybrid or remote work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and the business divisions, by seeking information, listening to pain points, understanding their needs and demonstrating technology solutions.
- Shapes the technology roadmap and adapts to changing business requirements, ensuring that HR technology systems are effectively implemented and managed to support the organization's strategic objectives.
- Lead the HRIS team by providing direction and guidance in the implementation and management of HR technology systems. Is responsible for ensuring that the team is aligned with the organization's goals and objectives, particularly in relation to HR data management and technology solutions.
- Provide consultations and support to team members, helping them to navigate challenges and improve their skills. Ensures that the team is equipped to handle new developments and innovations in HR technology.
- Lead Workday and Kronos technology roadmaps by defining and prioritizing projects and completing projects on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain vendor/partner relationships with Workday and Kronos representatives, consultants, and other third parties.
- Lead Workday renewal process, develop Requests For Proposals (RFPs), and develop Statements of Work (SOPs).
- Enhance user adoption across the Company through effective communication and education.
- Represent US Venture at Workday Rising and user group meetings. Network with other Workday customers and on the Workday Community website to learn and share best practices.
- Stay current with technology trends and best practices.
- Develop and configure business processes to gain efficiencies and optimize technology.
- Maintain and improve the Workday system, including data integrity, security, business processes, reporting, integrations, and other aspects of the system

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or IT is required
- Ability to build trust and strong cross-functional relationships across an organization to achieve common goals
- Strong "client service" mindset and the ability to use collaborative and non-adversarial approaches in achieving diverse goals
- Strong business analyst mindset, including the ability to seek out information from users in order to understand their needs and leverage technology to meet those needs
- Proven project management and process improvement skills
- Proven skills in prioritizing, problem-solving and accelerating change
- Demonstrated experience as an inquisitive, creative thinker with an innovative growth mindset
- Deliver results by target deadline and within budget in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency in Excel and report writing
Preferred:
- A minimum of 5 years leading Workday Human Capital Management system operations, implementations, and resources; Kronos time and attendance system experience preferred
