This is an interview position.

GENERAL SUMMARY
To sell (primarily by telephone) FedEx services to both 'new' and 'existing' customers (primary focus: existing: $75-$150 day average net revenue and/or net new potential with the key deliverable of achieving assigned territory revenue objectives (as measured and determined by FedEx).

  • Prospect cold or active companies and promote FedEx services and focus on closing.
  • Generate and qualify leads to grow revenue for a specific territory with a focus on managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact through successful close.
  • Account management with an outcome of increased customer satisfaction and an increase in retention and account growth
  • Develop and execute formal presentations that are tailored to meet our potential/existing customers' needs.
  • Processing sales quotes and orders in an accurate manner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent

Basic level of proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook;

Knowledge of Internet/Intranet;

Thorough knowledge of FedEx features of service, billing systems, pricing structures, invoice adjustments, etc. preferred;

Solid understanding of FedEx systems/applications preferred;

Strong oral and written communication skills;

Demonstrated negotiation skills;

Strong interpersonal skills;

Demonstrated self motivation and ability to work independently

Ability to multi-task;

Commitment to task;

Overcomes objections/obstacles;

Demonstrated a track record of achieving results
