We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Quality Control Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all quality testing activities within the Quality Department and across the factory. This role ensures that all products meet internal and external standards, including those required by regulatory and certification bodies such as UL. The supervisor will

Essential Duties:

Coordinate Testing Activities:

  • Supervise daily quality testing performed by the QC team and production staff.
  • Ensure tests are performed accurately, consistently, and in a timely manner.
  • Review test results and escalate non-conformances as needed.

Calibration Management:

  • Oversee calibration of all quality control and testing equipment.
  • Maintain up-to-date calibration records and ensure compliance with required standards.

Audit and Compliance:

  • Prepare for and support UL and other regulatory audits.
  • Ensure all testing procedures and documentation are audit-ready at all times.
  • Implement corrective actions and continuous improvement measures based on audit findings.

Leadership and Team Coordination:

  • Lead and mentor a team of quality technicians and inspectors.
  • Provide training and support to factory staff on quality procedures and standards.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain and update testing procedures, quality manuals, and calibration logs.
  • Prepare quality reports and present data to management for decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field along with 5+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field along with 3+ years of experience in quality control or assurance in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of testing protocols, calibration requirements, and quality standards (ISO, UL, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality management software systems.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
