Description

Rockline Industries is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves delivering direct sales support to our internal Sales Teams, including Retail, Club, Ecommerce, Commercial, Rockline Trading, and Telephone. You will oversee and update all customer-related documentation, both online and offline, and provide internal assistance to Sales Directors with tasks such as pricing coordination, promotional submissions, customer bid preparation, customs documentation, and data analysis related to Point of Sale, Returns, and Out-of-Stocks.

Essential Accountabilities:



  • Customer Forms Management: Oversee the accurate completion of customer forms and monthly inventory reports, collaborating closely with various departments to meet customer deadlines.
  • Customer Price Coordination: Enter and audit sales advance price file data, ensuring precision to avoid invoice discrepancies. Maintain and oversee pricing databases.
  • Internal Forms and Processes Management: Handle tasks such as Agile Requests, forecasting requests, accrual requests, and provide guidance on deductions and various projects.
  • Customer Reports Development: Analyze and structure data related to Point of Sale and Out-of-Stock events to provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders.
  • Customer Bid Coordination: Manage and coordinate customer bid activities, ensuring accurate completion of bid portals and customer forms.
  • Online Customer Portals Navigation: Efficiently manage the upload of pricing, item specifications, launch dates, and other documentation to various customer portals.
  • Fiscal Budget Process Coordination: Coordinate budget worksheet uploads during the fiscal budget process.
  • Customer Interaction: Participate in Teams calls with customers to stay informed about ongoing business activities and provide guidance to the Sales team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments such as Accounting, PDM, Customer Care, Product Management, Graphics, Forecasting, Category Management, and Supply Chain.
  • Presentation Development: Create and update high-quality PowerPoint presentations and sales reports.
  • Sample & First Run Requests: Handle customer sample requests and oversee the shipment of samples.
  • EPA Registration Renewals: Facilitate the submission or review of EPA forms for annual renewals.
  • Miscellaneous Admin Tasks: Manage daily FedEx shipments, office supply orders, E-Requisitions, and coordination of customer meetings, trade shows, and sales meetings.


Qualifications:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales support, customer service, supply chain, or business-to-business role, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel (including Pivot Tables), and strong proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, ERP systems (JDE is a plus), and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and manage relationships.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work within time frames and due dates.
