Now Hiring: 2026 New Graduate Nurses - RN Residency Program

UnityPoint Health is excited to welcome new graduate nurses with anticipated graduation dates in May, August, and December 2025 to our Resident Residency Program. This 12-month program is designed to support your transition into professional practice, enhance critical nursing skills, and prepare you for a successful career in a variety of clinical settings.

Program Highlights:

  • 12-month structured program supporting your transition into professional practice.

  • Thoughtfully developed sessions to enhance skills in critical thinking, assessment, leadership, and clinical decision-making.

  • Ongoing continuing education and professional development opportunities.

  • Opportunities to implement evidence-based practice improvements in your care area.

  • Dedicated nurse educators available during and after the program.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • New Grad starting pay: $32.73/hr

  • Shift Differentials: 3p-11p: $5/hr, 11p-7a: $7.50/hr

  • $2,000/month stipend for 6 months prior to licensure

  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus

  • Cardiac Treatment Unit | Cardiac Stepdown | Cath Lab | Clinical Resource Team (Float Pool)

  • Emergency Department | ICU | Infusion | Maternal Services (L&D, Mother-Baby, NSCU)

  • Endoscopy | Recovery Care Center | Mental Health Inpatient/Substance Use Disorder

  • Acute Med Neuro/Medical Oncology | Surg/Ortho | Surgical Services (OR, Ambulatory, PACU, Recovery Care Center)

Qualifications

Education:

  • Diploma from an RN program.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state.
    • Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
