Job Summary

Responsible for the collection and analysis of content sourced from the enterprise electronic medical records (EMR) reporting database and managing the design, build, testing, and implementation of business intelligence (BI) solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Develop and aggregate analytical content sourced from the enterprise EMR reporting database.
  • Troubleshoot enterprise BI tools, system and software.
  • Support projects in building data models and visualizations.
  • Develop and execute relational and multidimensional database queries.
  • Conduct quality measure analytics to provide valuable insights into the specific areas which require attention.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

Manage new data requests by incorporating Agile methodologies.

Develop reporting systems that provide accessible information for decision making.

Communicate with end users to conduct needs assessment and determine reporting requirements.

Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation.

Education:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field

AND

Experience:

1 year of experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) data, operational workflows, and data visualization tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau), and conducting needs assessments
