Position title: Ophthalmology Salary range:
The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay at appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $500,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. The successful candidates will be in a unified division providing clinical care at multiple sites, teaching and training of medical students, residents, and fellows in our educational programs, and will participate in clinical and/or basic research. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience. Candidates must have a MD or equivalent or a MD/PhD in a health-related field. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Ophthalmology or related field. Candidates must have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/ permit as determined by the Medical Board of California. Preferred qualifications
