Description
GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a motivated Senior Project Construction Technician to provide project support for power generation construction. The position is based out of our Pittsburgh, PA office and will predominantly work in the PA, VA, MD, WV and OH regions at various power generation client project sites on landfill and impoundment closure projects. Experience with construction quality control (CQC) or construction quality assurance (CQA) for the installation of geosynthetic liner systems at landfills is required. Individual will be responsible for observing construction activities, completing field testing of soils/earthwork, inspecting geosynthetic liner installation and completing daily reports to monitor and document Construction Activities. The individual will act as the lead CQC/CQA representative on project sites and will be responsible for interacting with the project Owner, project Contractor, third party testing laboratories, and GAI engineers to verify construction is being completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications. Individual will be responsible for managing and training other GAI construction technicians utilized for the project. Essential Duties Include:
