What Would You Do As A Concrete Superintendent?

As a Concrete Superintendent at our Ainsworth Benning division, you will coordinate daily production tasks to ensure safety compliance, reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include delegating tasks, executing craft tasks alongside your crew, and maintaining an organized, safe job site. You will also play a crucial role in project scheduling, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that the right materials are available and used correctly.

Are You A Good Fit For This Concrete Superintendent Role?

To excel as a Concrete Superintendent at Ainsworth Benning, you will need a robust set of skills tailored for the construction industry. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications is essential for effective project execution. A solid understanding of constructability and large-scale commercial construction and renovation will be invaluable for navigating complex projects.

Familiarity with various hardware and software systems, including mobile tablets and timecard applications, is necessary for efficient workflow management. Additionally, basic math skills and the ability to multi-task will help you prioritize daily assignments effectively. A valid driver's license, along with the ability to communicate clearly and patiently with diverse internal and external stakeholders, rounds out the essential qualifications.

With at least five years of concrete construction experience and relevant equipment certifications, you'll be well-equipped to thrive in this role while adapting to fluctuating work conditions, including various weather scenarios and physical demands.
