Research Assistant (Sepulveda Research and Evaluation Department)

This is a remote position, and you have the option to elect to a 9/80 flex work schedule.

The pay range for this role is between $18.10 - $20.82 per hour.

Summary

As a Research Assistant, you will support the Research and Evaluation Department by monitoring and processing clinical outcomes measures data, conducting data cleaning and descriptive analysis, conducting literature reviews, and participating in continuous quality improvement and compliance projects. You will work collaboratively with program staff to ensure accurate and timely collection of outcomes data.

Primary Duties



  • Monitors and processes clinical outcome measures.
  • Conducts data cleaning and helps ensure quality of data collected.
  • Consults with individual program staff regarding administration and scoring of various outcome measures.
  • Communicate regularly with program management and staff regarding outcomes protocols, processing, and completion.
  • Train staff on outcomes processes.
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement and outcome compliance projects.
  • Qualitative data analysis (e.g. coding and categorizing responses).
  • May perform minor descriptive statistics/summaries.
  • May fulfill basic data requests that require minimal program knowledge.
  • May develop simple surveys for data collection as needed.
  • Performs other administrative duties related to Research and Evaluation projects as needed.


Position Requirements



  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Social Science, Psychology, Sociology, or similar fields.
  • Ability to gain a strong working knowledge of basic data management, descriptive statistics, and research and evaluation methodology.
  • Support the values and mission of Didi Hirsch and related to employment.
  • Present ideas, information, and viewpoints clearly, both verbally and in writing.
  • Efficiently use personal computer, including Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Utilize critical thinking and analytical skills to support department initiatives.
  • Experience or training in research and evaluation preferred.
  • Ensure daily tasks and responsibilities support division/department goals and objectives.
  • Adapt to changing needs by acquiring new skills and knowledge.
