About the role:
As a Programmer Analyst, you'll contribute to a critical component of our success. While workingclosely with clients and internal teams to deliverinnovative, newsolutions that meet their needsand help advance the way the world pays,banksand invests.

About the team:
This role is with our AffinityEdge Implementations team. This position will work closely with customers, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.

What youwillbe doing:

• Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented

• Demonstrate an understanding of FIS systems and the financial services industry

• Analyze requirements and translate business requirements into product designs

• Write technical specifications and other forms of documentation

• Researching clientneeds, analyzingtrendsandbestpracticesand creatingdetailedprogramspecifications

• Devisingproceduresto achievegreaterefficienciesand solvecomplextechnicalproblems.

• Assessingavailabletechnologiesandrecommendingsolutions.

What you will need:

• You have experience in COBOL programming language & Unisys.

• Experience working with different aspects of banking like deposits, loans, etc.

• You have excellent customer service skills

• You are very organized and detail-oriented; able to work with shifting priorities

• You love analyzing issues and devising efficiencies to better the client experience

• Advanced knowledge of multiple end-to-end systems as well as application development.

• Proficiencyin business modeling and requirements definition disciplines through Unified Modeling Language(UML).

• An understanding of appropriate application programming languages.

• Abachelor's in computer science or information systems or the equivalent experience.
