Job Summary (Primary function):
This remote, field-based training position is responsible for meeting and exceeding the Sales, Access, and Management training requirements of the Incyte Dermatology/Immunology commercial organization. The role serves as the Access Lead for the IAI team and as the HS (Hidradenitis Suppurativa) Launch Lead. The position is open to candidates living anywhere in the continental U.S., preferably near a major airport. This position currently reports to the Head of Commercial Training.

Essential Functions of the Job (Key responsibilities):

  • Prepare and/or oversee the preparation of training programs such as classes, workshops, learning modules, and other training materials, with a strong emphasis on Patient and Market Access training content, pull-through strategies, and fulfillment process education in addition to standard product, clinical, and skill-based content.
  • Serve as the HS subject matter, product/disease state, access and marketplace expert as assigned by the Head of Commercial Training in preparation for launch.
  • Lead and manage the New Hire Home Study process including schedules, coaching calls, assessments, etc.
  • Assist in coordination of New Hire Orientation.
  • Identify, develop, and execute training needed at the regional level in collaboration with the Dermatology/Immunology Business Directors.
  • Coordinate Regional Field Trainer activities and responsibilities.
  • Facilitate National/Regional Sales Meeting training workshops.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions as assigned.
  • Manage training projects through the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory review process.
  • Manage vendors when designing and developing training content.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Work with the Head of Commercial Training and sales management to institute specific metrics and measurements to assess the success of training activities.
  • Manage classroom environment in a manner that allows representatives to meet learning objectives, including those related to access, pull-through, and fulfillment processes.
  • Coach and provide feedback to Dermatology/Immunology Therapeutic Specialists.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions of varied sizes.
  • Assist with training and execution for product launches and line extensions.
  • Ability to learn new disease state and clinical materials.
  • Act as a liaison between the field force and Home Office to identify and communicate training needs, particularly those related to access, pull-through, and fulfillment.
  • Engage directly with both field teams and customers to ensure training effectiveness and alignment with business objectives.
  • Support field and customer engagement initiatives to drive adoption of training programs and ensure successful execution of access and fulfillment strategies.

Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency):

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years successful sales experience in dermatology or immunology is preferred.
  • Launch experience with a small molecule or biologic preferred.
  • Previous Access Training or experience in Field Reimbursement is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated Access Acumen, Pull-through experience, and a strong understanding of fulfillment processes are required.
  • Former training experience preferred (Regional Trainer, remote trainer, Preceptorship, etc.).
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Exceptional presentation/facilitation skills and written communication skills to varying management levels.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional and matrix environment.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent projects.
  • Must be able to self-motivate and demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to perform effectively with limited supervision.
  • Ability to communicate and teach complex topics, including access, pull-through, and fulfillment processes.
  • High level of selling skills with the ability to coach others on effective selling and execution.
  • Proven success at performing responsibilities with a high degree of flexibility, objectivity, discretion, appropriate demeanor, and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-75% of the time within assigned Regions as well as to the Home Office.
  • Expertise with key software is preferred (e.g. MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Teams, Outlook, LMS, etc.).
