JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position: CNC machinist/Fabricator in non-production, custom project/prototyping machine shop.

-CNC machinist with experience programming Gibs-Cam and using a HAAS machine.

-Ability to use manual lathes, Bridgeport and Wells Index. Doosan lathe experience a plus, but not necessary.

-Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot engineering drawings and offer suggestions to make production more efficient.

-Ability to use all of the tools a machinist would use to both make parts, and quality check them for accuracy.

-Fabrication and assembly. Welding (not necessary), cutting, forming and assembling components.

-Quality control and inspection.

-Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues that may arise in manufacturing and assembly of components/assemblies.

-Strong attention to detail.

-40 hours a week, overtime as needed.

-7am - 3:30pm work hours.
