As a Security Professional - Access Control in Shelbyville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more .

Our team is seeking dedicated professionals to join us in a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will play a crucial role in access control. As part of your responsibilities, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. Your role will also involve providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as per AU Driver Policy Requirements and is suitable for individuals aged 21 and above. Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by implementing access control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Assist in responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying environments and conditions.
• Engage in emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and activities by maintaining a visible presence.
• Collaborate with team members to address security-related incidents in a collaborative manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with AU Driver Policy Requirements.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
