THE JOB: At MGM Resorts International, we're in the business of creating unforgettable moments - and that starts with sourcing excellence. We're looking for a strategic and driven Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team and help shape the future of how we partner, negotiate, and deliver value across our enterprise. You'll bring together cross-functional teams, negotiate key supplier agreements, and ensure alignment with our company's operational and sustainability goals. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Lead strategic sourcing efforts for key categories supporting MGM's iconic portfolio of resorts. Conduct deep-dive spend and market analysis to uncover opportunities for cost savings and supplier innovation. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand property-level needs and translate them into actionable sourcing strategies. Develop and manage comprehensive Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and analyze submissions to determine optimal award scenarios. Negotiate, write, and execute supplier contracts in collaboration with Corporate Legal. Oversee project implementation and monitor compliance, supplier performance, and overall program success. Identify and champion diverse supplier inclusion and sustainability-focused alternatives.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field; or equivalent experience 5+ Years of prior relevant procurement experience Strong negotiation skills and experience running RFP/RFI processes from end to end. Excellent analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Word, PowerPoint, and Stratton Warren. Familiarity with sourcing tools (RFx platforms, contract management systems) and financial analysis techniques. Strong communication and presentation skills - comfortable working with teams at all levels of the organization.
