Job Summary

Responsible to manage daily service and financial performance including departure and delivery to the customer. Provide tier 1 logistic service provider support; tier 1 is defined as resolve and support root cause identification, day-to-day execution, resolution of challenges and opportunities, and customer implementation/disengagement. This is to be done, as to be available during approved business day hours as to not disrupt delivery and logistics flow.

This position also involves management of financial components and deliver process improvements that drive efficiency and helps to ensure budget accountability and cost savings opportunities. This means support of the Customer Service teams along with courier partnership requests be completed in a timely manner meeting all expected service level agreements.

Responsibilities

  • Service Management:
    • Manage daily logistics operations, including departure and delivery to customers.
    • Proactively identify and resolve challenges and opportunities within the logistics process.
    • Support customer implementation and disengagement processes.
    • Collaborate with customer service escalation teams.
    • Manage relationships with courier partners, ensuring timely completion of requests.
  • Financial Management:
    • Manage financial components of the logistics operation, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
    • Identify and implement cost savings opportunities.
    • Ensure budget accountability and adherence to financial guidelines.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.
    • Continuously evaluate and optimize logistics processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
    • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all logistics processes, ensuring standardization and consistency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • 8+ years of experience, preferred
  • Experience with Tableau is desired
  • Proven ability to manage financial components of a business operation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Travel Expectations: 10-15%

Anticipated salary range:$86,400 - $123,400
