Clinical Nurse Manager - FT - 40 Hours/Week
Mukilteo, WA Compass Health is currently looking for a Clinical Nurse Manager for our Evaluation and Treatment Facility in Mukilteo, WA! What you will be performing The Clinical Nurse Manager participates in clinical and administrative management for either of Compass Health's two Evaluation and Treatment facilities and direct supervision of nursing staff and psych techs. This position is responsible for day-to-day facility operations, including but not limited to staff supervision and quality improvement, working closely with other members of the management leadership team. This position is responsible for 24/7 on-call availability.
- Enforces all applicable building, health, fire and safety standards within the facility.
- Ensures that all assessments and treatment planning comply with and follows agency guidelines.
- Works collaboratively with participates in and leads cross functional work teams.
- Assists the Director with development and monitoring budget, policy and procedures while maintaining quality and productivity.
- Assists the Director to ensure implementation and improvement based on feedback related to client satisfaction and outcome data and other quality improvement indicators.
- Hires, supervises, and evaluates staff in coordination with the Director and Human Resources.
- Ensures utilization management of services delivered at the facility.
- Participates in the development and management of the facility's budget as assigned by Director.
- Remains compliant with required trainings and certifications and ensures staff compliance as well.
- Manages schedule and payroll for all facility staff.
- Prepares and participates in all reviews conducted by licensors.
- Participates in regularly scheduled supervision and team meetings.
- Behaves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with agency policy, state law, and licensing entities if applicable.
- Understands and practices safekeeping of client protected health information per Compass Health's HIPAA and other agency policies and procedures.

PROGRAM SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains 24/7 on-call availability and provides after-hours support as needed.
What you will be carrying along
- Current Washington State RN license required, BSN preferred.
- Qualifies as a Mental Health Professional (MHP) as defined by WAC.
- 3 years of related experience in a Psychiatric setting.
- 2 years of supervisor/management experience.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification and Food Handlers permit, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License including vehicle and appropriate insurance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT The employee will be working in an acute care facility and must be able to physically participate in managing aggressive behavior from patients. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, and use close vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
