Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer (Greenwood, Indiana) Position Description & Responsibilities:
- Design, test and evaluate process improvement projects.
- Ensures timely completion of assigned projects that support KPIs.
- Supports process owners in the use of Continuous Improvement; this may include facilitating process improvement activity.
- Develops and communicates business cases to support recommendations for change to current business practices and processes.
- Develops controls to monitor and sustain the progress associated with implementations and evaluates result.
- Develops Organizational Technical competence of Lean Approaches:
- Waste Identification/Elimination;
- Standardization;
- Problem Solving / Analysis Tools (8D, 5Y, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.); and
- Pull Systems / Signals (Kanbans, Heijunka, EPEI, etc.).
- Resource for CIP program - Supports CIP facilitators and performance updates to the organization.
- Assists Project Sponsors across the organization in identifying and prioritizing opportunities to improve across KPIs (Quality, on-time delivery, productivity, etc.).
- Ensure best practices are deployed across the organization.
- Support compliance / improvement efforts across accreditations, directives and laws (i.e. ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ATEX, ISO 14001, etc.).
- Resource for Lean / CI training process & methodologies.
- Support Document Control processes as needed (Master Control, DWP, 180, etc.).
Qualifications: Master of Science in Industrial Engineering. Travel: May travel up to 5% US and internationally. Full-time position Salary Range: $96,990.00 - $116,990.00
