Levy is seeking a QC Tech who enjoys working with others from the lab to the field and prefers to take the 10,000-foot view. If you are an analytic problem, you'd be the perfect addition to the Levy Family. The Levy Group of Companies is seeking a Quality Control Technician to work at our Ace Saginaw Paving location in Saginaw, MI. The Quality Control Technician tests materials and assists in maintaining or modifying aggregate gradations to meet customer's demand, using moderately complex testing methods and equipment. Pay: Shift/Schedule: Benefits Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs Student Loan Repayment Program Employee Referral Program Responsibilities The Quality Control Technician will: Comply with all safety regulations, policies and record keeping Prepare samples for analysis Perform routine testing of samples Determine appropriate handling procedures and sampling techniques for specific applications Perform moderately complex testing procedures - determining specific gravity, unit weight, organic plate, etc. Instrument calibration Maintain work area for cleanliness and to allow safe movement and access Enter data and generate reporting from the quality reporting system Meet internal and external customer service expectations Other projects as assigned Skills The ideal candidate will have: Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to Climb ladders, scaffolding and stockpiles Basic knowledge of office machinery and software Knowledge of various laboratory equipment Good verbal and written communication skills. Valid Driver's License Willingness to perform other duties as assigned. Technical Specifications Candidate must be willing to attend Ferris Construction Institute after training period to complete applicable certifications To Apply Please submit your resume.
