Program Manager This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph to be considered. Cherokee Preting is seeking a Program Manager to support our Defense Intelligence Agency client. The Program Manager will be working full-time on site. Compensation & Benefits: Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Manager: $170,000 - $190,000. Pay commensurate with experience. Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice. Program Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for the successful cost, schedule, and performance of the contract
- Serve as the main point of contact for the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), the Government Program Manager, and the Contractor's senior management.
- Directly contribute to program efforts in several areas, including cost management/avoidance, schedule estimation and tracking, contract performance management, risk management, requirements analysis, and quality assurance activities
- Ensure proper performance of tasks necessary to ensure the most efficient and effective execution of the contract.
- Utilize expert communication skills needed to direct the skilled technical resources and report on the technical progress, issues, and problem areas, as well as write and review technical documents.
- Responsible for managing very complex and/or high risk programs.
- Directs daily staff and task activities to meet client and corporate work objectives.
- Serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
- Responsible for coordinating and monitoring subcontractor activities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Program Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
- Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible and willingness to obtain a Counterintelligence polygraph.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of program management experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts at various types of complexities.
- Possess one of the following:
- PMI issued PMP
- DAWIA PM II
- FAC-P/PM Mid-Level in Program Management
- Demonstrated experience managing a globally dispersed workforce.
- Demonstrated working knowledge managing complex tasks to include software development, systems engineering, business process engineering, customer relationship management, project management, financial management, change management, risk management and IT service management.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
