Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing the clinical aspects of Newport Healthcare's adolescent partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient program in Kirkland, WA. In collaboration with the Director of Outpatient Services, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for leading the clinical team, which includes recruiting, hiring, and training staff. Key responsibilities include workload planning, program schedule development, ensuring clinical compliance, facilitating therapy groups, and managing a small caseload of clients and/or families.

Essential Duties:

  • Recruit, hire, and train clinical and support staff.
  • Supervise clinical staff and manage caseloads.
  • Oversee admissions, including assessments and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate on the clinical program schedule to ensure compliance.
  • Facilitate therapy groups and provide crisis intervention.
  • Ensure timely completion of clinical documentation and conduct audits.
  • Lead supervision and treatment team meetings.
  • Supervise external contractors and consult with psychiatrists as needed.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and oversee discharge planning.
  • Represent Newport Healthcare at community events.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree required, preferably degree at the doctorate level, from an accredited or state approved graduate school.
  • Licensed in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work is required in the state in which you are applying.
  • The ability to provide clinical supervision required.
  • Experience in providing family therapy with adolescents and parents.
  • Willingness to be trained, supervised and provide services within the framework of Attachment-Based Family Therapy.
  • Training or experience in trauma-informed treatment preferred.
  • One-year supervisory experience required.

Toll Reimbursement Provided!

*This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus based on successful completion of 90 day training and proficient 90 day performance evaluation.*

Compensation for this role ranges from $69,017-$105,000 per year depending on education and experience.
