This job description outlines a comprehensive role in human resources, focusing on various aspects of employee management, recruitment, compliance, and organizational culture. Below is a summary of the key responsibilities and functions associated with this position:

1. Culture Development:

   • Collaborate with local leadership to foster a culture centered on customer service, quality, integrity, and accountability.
   • Engage and empower employees to provide superior client treatment in a safe and compassionate environment.

2. Recruitment and Staffing:

   • Manage recruitment processes for all levels of staff, including exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers.
   • Write job postings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, and perform background checks.
   • Extend job offers and conduct new employee orientations.

3. HR Policies and Procedures:

   • Administer HR plans and procedures for personnel within designated areas.
   • Assist in developing, communicating, and implementing personnel policies.

4. Performance Management:

   • Execute performance management plans to ensure timely feedback for employees, including 90-day and annual reviews.

5. HR Operations Setup:

   • Establish HR operations for new locations or during acquisitions.

6. Benefits Coordination:

   • Work with the Benefits Administrator to ensure accurate and timely communication of benefit information.

7. Training Compliance:

   • Ensure all training requirements are met for employees.

8. Employee Relations:

   • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and collaborate with management to resolve issues.
   • Coach managers on handling employee matters and recommend disciplinary actions when necessary.

9. Record Keeping and Compliance:

   • Maintain department records and reports in compliance with regulatory and licensing standards.
   • Complete reporting requirements accurately and on time.

10. HRIS Management:

    • Accurately enter new employees into the HRIS and update information throughout their tenure.
    • Document changes as needed for employee files.

11. Leave Administration:

    • Administer workers' compensation, Family and Medical Leave (FMLA), and other leave of absence information promptly.

12. Wage and Hour Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with wage and hour practices by reviewing and approving timekeeping records before payroll submission.

• Participate in leadership and departmental meetings as required.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues on various initiatives within the company.

• Seven (7) + years of human resources generalist experience.
• PHR or Human Resources Certificate preferred.
• Experience in the health care industry and/or residential treatment field preferred.
• Subject matter expert on federal and state specific employment and wage and hour law.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Working knowledge of Joint Commission and state regulatory requirements as it relates to Human Resources.

Pay range for this position based on education and experience:

$104,382 - $122,000 annually
