The Quality Auditor will be responsible forensuring all material received is suitable for inventory and the last line of defense to ensure processed material meets customer requirements, allowing us meeting the highest quality standards and complying with regulatory requirements This role is located in Ontario, CA and will be fully on-site. Starting Pay: $24 Schedule: 1st shift Monday- Friday Pay Schedule: weekly
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Inspecting physical attributes of incoming product for compliance to the organization's purchasing requirements utilizing standard hand measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Performing inspection and auditing operator's in-process inspections on physical attributes of outgoing product for conformance to the customer's requirements utilizing standard hand measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers.
- Coordinating and managing the physical movement of material to and from the quality hold and material review board areas.
- Coordinate and aid in calibration activities, maintain calibration logs and awareness of tool status.
- Read and understand technical specifications, drawings, and quality attribute data stored within the Organization's databases, as required by customers and other authorities and understand the organization's ability to inspect and verify those requirements, assisting in the development of capabilities where gaps exist.
- Identify risks associated with inspection methods and requirements and use problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management and cross-functional teams.
- Assist operations team in tracking, documenting, and reporting quality levels, trends, root causes and opportunities for improvement for CSR (corporate social responsibility), environmental, and health and safety goals/KPIs.
- Participate in the auditing process, providing documentation, inspection records and other related items during internal audits, certification audits and management reviews.
- Actively participate in a culture of Continual Improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school or trade school equivalent.
- Preferred familiarity with manufacturing environments and the use of handheld measuring tools.
- Dependable math skills with the ability to perform conversions and calculations.
- A strong analytical focus with critical attention to detail
- Drive for future development and a desire to achieve professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CCT (certified calibration technician), or CQI (certified quality inspector), or relevant education.
